  • Jonathan will be at Trinity on Monday, March 7 at 8:30am in the school gym. He will talk about how to be a disciple, and how some the Bible poems he wrote show us examples of discipleship.
  • The students will also get classroom time with the author, and learn to write their own poems.
Last year we did penny wars and raised $1,183.50 as a school to help with relief in Haiti. Let's do $2,000.00 this year! Here's how it works:
Objective:  Have more pennies than the value of silver coins in your classroom jar.

During National Lutheran Schools Week, March 7-11, we will compete in Penny Wars.  Each classroom wants to fill their jar with pennies to counteract the silver coins other students, teachers, or parents may drop into their jar.  What will you do to win the Penny Wars?  Bring pennies to put in your classroom jar, and silver coins to put in other classroom jars (NO PAPER MONEY IS ALLOWED).  All money raised will be going to the “Building Hope & Homes in Haiti” project.
