posted Apr 13, 2018, 9:35 AM by Trinity Lutheran   [ updated Apr 17, 2018, 7:27 AM ]

This post originally stated both scholarships could be submitted with just the first page of your 1040 or 1040A tax returns.  Both the ILSTO application and the Trinity Scholarship application should be accompanied by the first two pages of your 2017 1040 or 1040A, or a written explanation of why you don’t file taxes.

Don't lose out on ILSTO and Trinity Scholarships!

About the two scholarship sources...

The ILSTO (Iowa Lutheran Student Tuition Organization) is a major source of scholarship funding for our Trinity families.

o The ILSTO application is a simple one-page application that can save you thousands of dollars.

o ILSTO applications must be postmarked by Friday, April 27.

o You must submit the first TWO pages of your 2017 1040 or 1040A with the application, or provide a written explanation of why you don't file taxes.

o Applications should be mailed directly to the ILSTO.

Trinity Scholarships are available to fill in the gaps. That application is also due Friday April 27, accompanied by page 1 and 2 of your 2017 1040 or 1040A. You can drop it off at the school office, or put it in the mail by Friday, April 27.

Application forms for ILSTO and Trinity Scholarships can be picked up at the school office, or downloaded from Trinity's website. PLEASE contact Pat Powell(319-775-0229) if you need help or have questions.
