SCRIP

posted Sep 11, 2015, 11:13 AM by Trinity Lutheran

“SCRIP” – What is that?  Scrip is a way that you can help yourself and the school at the same time. On Fridays after school,  Scrip is sold in the school lobby. Many different retail stores, restaurants and other individual places sell coupons and gift cards to our Scrip program.

Example:  If you need groceries and shop at Fareway or Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club, you can purchase a gift card from Scrip Friday and use it in the store to purchase groceries. The Scrip program purchases the cards at a discount.  Half of that discount is kept in the Scrip program for use here at the school. The other half of the discount is set aside under your name to be used towards your tuition the following school year. The more you use Scrip, the less you will pay for your tuition the following year. You can even have other friends and family members purchase the Scrip and have it put under your name. It is a win-win for you and the school.

So stop on Friday after school or look on the Scrip sheet that is attached below and on our Forms Page under Parent Info.
