“SCRIP” – What is that?

posted Nov 20, 2017, 7:51 AM by Trinity Lutheran

Scrip is a way that you can help yourself and the school at the same time. On Fridays after school, Scrip is sold in the school lobby, or  you can email your order into the school office and pick it up at any time during office hours. Many different retail stores, restaurants and other individual places sell coupons and gift cards to our Scrip program.

Example:  If you need groceries and shop at Fareway or Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club, you can purchase a gift card from Scrip  and use it in the store to purchase groceries. The Scrip program purchases the cards at a discount.  Half of that discount is kept in the Scrip program for use here at the school. The other half of the discount is set aside under your name to be used towards your tuition the following school year. The more you use Scrip, the less you will pay for your tuition the following year. You can even have other friends and family members purchase the Scrip and have it put under your name. It is a win-win for you and the school.

Look under the Scrip Program tab on the home page of the school website for an order form and additional information about the program.
